NeoGraft offers a safe and more comfortable alternative to the “strip” method of hair transplantation. NeoGraft hair transplantation uses gentle suction instead of surgical incisions to harvest hair. This process may take a bit longer, but it will not result in linear scaring and also allows for body hair to be used when sufficient hair density is not available at the back of the scalp.
During your NeoGraft hair transplantation consultation, one of our Austin plastic surgeons will be happy to answer any questions you have about the process and help you determine if it is right for you.

Follicular Unit Extraction
NeoGraft hair transplantation is an advance in the follicular unit extraction (FUE) method of hair restoration. With NeoGraft, a tiny "punch" is made in the skin around the hair follicles to extract the graft. Each punch containing 1-4 hairs is then separated with delicate precision. Grafts are then carefully transplanted along the hairline with minor surgical instruments. Because hairs are transplanted in 1-4 units there are no sutures needed. Local and oral sedation are given to make sure you are comfortable throughout the procedure.
Our Austin plastic surgeons take time to carefully place each hair in its optimal position and direction for completely natural-looking results. Some of the transplanted hair will be placed along the hair line to create a more defined appearance. The remaining follicles will be placed in the crown to increase hair thickness. The hair restoration results you can expect will be discussed with you in greater detail during your initial consultation.
